Mooring and Coquina Sands are distinguished communities that lack the bustling atmosphere of their southern neighbors. There is a tranquil, spacious feeling in the area, and not just because the neighborhoods are bordered by beaches on one side and numerous country clubs on the other. Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
Residents have access to the vibrant shopping of Downtown Naples and the quaint Village at Venetian Bay to the north, but these well-established neighborhoods are full of delicious fare and easily accessible shopping close to home.
USS Nemo has unique fine dining with award-winning service and delicious seafood. Known for having prime steak and meat that is a cut above, Jimmy P’s Charred is an unpretentious and simply delicious dining experience. If you’re looking for a casual eatery full of healthy fare, Lake Park Diner is serving their organic delicacies to the neighborhood.
The Coastland Center shopping mall is full of well-known stores like Macy’s, American Eagle, and Express. There are restaurants tucked in among the stores, making it easy to transition from a shopping spree to a fun dinner out.
Things to Do
Coquina Sands and Moorings are full of outdoor activities. Whether you want to take a stroll, play a round of golf, or go for a bike ride, you can do that here. Though these neighborhoods tend to be on the quieter side, there are still some incredible events here as well.
Naples Zoo has been a dynamic part of Naples for over 100 years. It hosts community events and fundraiser galas, like the Naples Zoo Gala, and is a wonderful place for the community to come and learn about nature and the animals that dwell there. The Edgewater Beach Hotel is one of the best beach hotels in Florida. Lowdermilk Park is Naples’ premiere beachfront park. It has gazebos and picnic tables, and a large stretch of the sparkling ocean just waiting to be enjoyed. Access to the warm waves and sugary sand of The Moorings Private Beach Park is one of the best reasons to live in The Moorings. Meanwhile, Naples Preserve is an accessible boardwalk through the beautiful Florida habitat. There are several lauded golf courses close by, including Moorings Country Club and Wilderness Country Club.
